How it plays
One world, everybody in it. The RPG half is the one you already know — walk, find something, wear it down, catch it. What is new is that the creature you catch is yours on chain, and so is the one you take off somebody else.

Walk into a shared world
One map of 171 places — a dock, a trading tower, forests, caves, whole cities — with every other player walking around in it. Chat, add friends, message whoever is standing next to you.

Catch the market
Tickers roam the overworld. Wear one down, throw a ball, and it is yours — with the individual values, nature and shiny roll that make it a specific creature rather than a copy of its species.

Mint it, or do not
A catch lands in your box. Claiming it as an NFT is optional and costs a small fee. It arrives SEALED: what is inside is a commitment on chain, and only opening it reveals what you caught.

Fight someone for theirs
Duels are blind-pick and settled on chain. Both sides commit a creature behind a hash, both stakes lock in the arena contract, and the winner takes the pot. Nobody can see your pick or swap it afterwards.
Paid out of a pool, not printed
Four ways to make SMON, and one rule they all obey: none of them creates a single new token. That is the whole design, and it is why the board can be priced in dollars rather than in a number that quietly means less every week.
Daily quests
5 of them, refreshed every day: win battles, catch something, find a place you have never stood. They pay in SMON, priced against the dollar rather than fixed in tokens.

Duels and gyms
Zero-sum, plus a rake. Nothing is created here — a duel moves one player's stake to another, and a gym pays its challengers out of the entry fees they chose to pay.
No emissions anywhere in it
The marketplace
Sell what you caught, in ETH or SMON. Orders are signed off chain and settled on it, and the contract never takes custody of your NFT.
Seller keeps 92.5% — 2.5% protocol, 5% royalty
Trading tax, paid back out
Buying or selling SMON on an exchange carries a 2% tax; moving it between wallets is free. 75% of what that collects goes into the pool players are paid from.

The game never mints.
SMON has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 and no mint function — not a policy, an absence. Every reward is therefore a claim on a pool that already exists, filled by trading tax and by the treasury buying back with half of all revenue.
That is the difference between a game economy and a countdown. There is no faucet to turn off, because there is no faucet.

So what actually is this?
A monster-collecting RPG in the old handheld style, except the roster is the US stock market. Every one of the 194 tickers has been redrawn as a creature with its own name, elemental typing, base stats and dex entry. Apple is a blossom-maned lion. NVIDIA is a dragon that gets hungrier the harder it thinks.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser and on a phone, with on-screen controls. It is a real multiplayer world rather than a stream of one — everybody has their own character, and you will walk past other people playing.
Do I need a wallet?
Yes, to play. Connecting one is how the game knows who you are: your name, your party and where you were standing all live server-side against your wallet, so you can close the tab and come back, or sign in from another machine, and pick up where you left off. Signing in is a signature, never a transaction.
Is any of this real money yet?
Not yet. Everything is live on Sepolia, which is a test network — the tokens and NFTs are real contracts doing real transactions, with no real value. The same contracts are what move to mainnet.
Where do the numbers come from?
Names, species lines, dex flavour and elemental types come from the project's own data files. Base stats, height and weight are read straight out of the game engine's creature definitions — they are the numbers the battles actually use. The percentages on the ticker tape are decoration: a fixed hash of each contract address, never a market quote.
Where does the reward money come from?
A pool that already exists. SMON has a fixed supply and no mint function, so nothing the game pays out is newly created — it is refilled by the 2% tax on exchange trades (75% of it goes to players) and by the treasury buying back with half of all revenue. Duels and gyms pay out of stakes and entry fees, so they need no pool at all.
